WinSCP is a program that allows you to upload files using secure SFTP. The connection is made via SSH (Secure Shell), and the program is invaluable for those who administer remote machines. The interface is similar to Windows Commander, and if you’re used to this file manager, you’ll quickly get used to WinSCP.
WinSCP is an open source SFTP client for copying files from Linux to Windows and vice versa. With this program you can securely transfer files from / to a remote computer to / to yours. Ssh (scp via ssh1 and ssh2) is used to transfer files, and sftp is also supported.
WinSCP has a user-friendly interface, divided into two parts – one half sees someone else’s and the other – your computer. It has all the standard file management options.
