Deepin is Linux distribution with its own desktop called Deepin Desktop Environment. The Deepin package includes the DMusic music player, the DMovie video player, the DTalk messaging system, the installer and the Deepin Software Center. The project is being developed by Chinese programmers and is distributed under a GPLv3 license.
The various components of the Deepin desktop and applications are developed using the C / C ++ and Go programming languages, but the interface is formed using HTML5. Chromium is used for browser and web engine. The distribution uses the Compiz window manager and some GNOME libraries. It is planned to replace Compiz with another manager, own development. So far there is no Bulgarian localization for the product, but the project has been developing since 2010 and is already a stable product, offering interesting and useful opportunities.
