Universal Media Server 10.11.0

Universal Media Server is a multiplatform DLNA compatible UPnP media server. The development of Universal Media Server was started by SubJunk in order to create an efficient, stable and convenient file sharing service. The program supports the streaming of video data in various formats and requires virtually no user action.

Universal Media Server uses software technologies MEncoder, FFmpeg, tsMuxeR, AviSynth, MediaInfo and others. One of the advantages of this program is that it uses the Java programming language, which allows Universal Media Server to work with Windows, Linux and Mac OS X operating systems.

Chromecast support has been added to the latest version, bugs have been fixed. License: Freeware.
