PaperScan is an office document scanning tool. This app gives you the ability to scan with advanced post-processing tools.
The program has an intuitive interface and a set of image editing tools. While other similar applications are dedicated to a specific type of scanner or protocol, PaperScan allows you to scan images from different models of TWAIN or WIA scanners, cameras and shared network scanners, which is one of its main advantages.
It also supports two-sided scanning and importing of images or PDF documents. The program is free, but contains advertising messages.
