Kali Linux is a distribution specifically designed to test information security – from vulnerability analysis in web applications to network penetration and network services. The Kali Linux distribution was formerly known as Backtrack.
The new version of Kali Linux appeared two years after Kali Linux. The main changes are the following: the Linux kernel is used, the number of drivers for Wi-Fi and other hardware has been significantly increased, support for KDE, GNOME3, Xfce, MATE, e17, lxde and i3wm graphical environments has been introduced, many new utilities have been added programs. But perhaps most importantly, Kali Linux is already rolling out.
The distribution system has been introduced in the distribution for checking the versions of the included programs, which are also updated operatively. Kali Linux is also characterized by the fact that it can work with x32, x64 and ARM architecture. Kali Linux officially runs on Raspberry Pi, Chromebooks and other low-power computing devices.
